I went against almost everyone's advice and bought this phone. I am happy I did. I just needed a cordless phone to hook up to the magic-jack and this is perfect for that purpose. I was looking for a basic phone and nothing extra. The sound quality is crystal clear, even speakerphone. The range is really good. The phone is very easy to set up and use. I do like the intercom and locate handset features. I would have liked for the phones to come with a clip and maybe an earpiece jack. It makes it hard to use speakerphone when you have to carry the phone around in your hand or set it down somewhere. Otherwise, this phone set is great!

My teenage son found this phone and had to have it. He read about it online and liked the reviews, especially about the 3.2 MP camera. The first model one he wanted was not the C510a but a different letter model of the same phone. I called AT&T and they said to look for one with all four of the bandwidths that this model has, so we found this one on Amazon, checked for the bandwidths and bought it. It took more than a week to arrive but it was a good purchase because my son enjoys it. No one else has this phone in his group of friends and it was easy to just swap Sim cards from his Krazr and call AT&T to register it. Of course now he's on facebook with his phone and we had to add internet to our bill but he paid for the phone himself and he's happy with it and it's only an additional $10 a month for unlimited internet.

I've been the type of guy who doesn't change a thing until it is completely broken or beyond repair. When i decide to change my mobile phone it was more for the need than for style :), so after viewing some of the available ones in the market i decided to go with Motorola again. After a couple of months using the phone i have no complains, features are great, MotoID really works!!, sound quality is good as well as the noise reduction, just took a star from the rating because the battery life is just not there, i think we sometimes expect to have more time to play around with the phone without recharging. This phone knocked my socks off, February 9, 2010

I have been onto smartphones for a long time now, lately using Nokia N97, Nokia N95 before that (N73... on and on).

The Nexus One is not only far better than my Nokia N97, it is IMHO opinion better than any other phone I have tried.

I use it on T-Mobile. Install was as simple as popping my SIM card in and it started to work right away. Learning how to use the on screen qwerty keyboard took a couple of days to get a decent accuracy.

If you are a Google user then you will absolutely love this phone. Before I bought the phone I was already a frequent user of Google Docs, GMail, GoogleMaps and Google Calendar. These all integrated seamlessly into my phone. The great thing is that I can do a lot of the editing on my computer too and it nicely updates on my phone. I have also started to use Google Voice and Google Listen.

Setting up Pop e-mails is also easy and the application works very well.

Installing apps onto the phone is a breeze. I have taken advantage of free applications for FTP, Banking, Barcode Reading, Compass, Facebook, Google Skymap, KeyRing, GPSTracking, Nimbuzz, Youtube...

Wifi works great, bluetooth headset works great. GPS works. This phone does it all.

The phone is very thin but it has a nice substantial feel when you hold it in your hand.

I have copied mp3 files onto the phone SD card and I also take advantage of the streaming applications.

This phone does it all and doesn't seem to have any hick-ups.

I've been looking for a new cellphone and have read loads of reviews before making the purchase. I'm a hardcore open source software user and wanted an unlocked smart-phone which would be affordable and highly functional. This looked like the way to go for me. I'm absolutely amazed by it, coming from using an older Blackberry. I'm quite proficient with computers, but have fought and struggled with cellphones, as the operating systems in them just don't "compute," with me. I'm an older person and perhaps just don't catch on as fast as younger people, but thought I would do better with a phone which was more "computer oriented." I have to say...the Symbian operating system in the Nokia is great! I had no trouble setting everything up, the phone makes sense when I use it and I couldn't recommend it highly enough! This is the greatest cellphone I've ever had! Wouldn't trade it for an iPhone or anything else, except the Nokia N900 which is out of my budget!

The T239 DOES vibrate, July 1, 2009

I'm looking at the Samsung T239 manual right now (pg. 60) and it certainly DOES vibrate. The other reviewer is referring only to the alarm. And while dedicated web and mail keys may seem unnecessary on a prepaid phone, where you wouldn't expect a lot of Internet access, this phone is also used with other types of T-Mobile plans.

One other thing. The product description has an error. While text messages on T-Moble's monthly plans are $0.20 to send and receive, on the prepaid plans they are $.10 to send and $.05 to receive. Go figure.
